Since I was fortunate enough to spend my summer in New York City completing an internship at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, I made sure to hit up as many museums as possible. As I did for Chicago, I snapped many photos along the way. Here are some of my favorite photos of New York City museums and cultural institutions found in every corner of the city. You definitely made it to more museums in the city than I did this summer! What did you think of the “Playing House” intervention in the Brooklyn Museum’s historic domestic interiors?
Glad to see you made it to the Merchant House Museum. What a wonderful garden in the back of the house.
Jack – it was really interesting to juxstapose Merchant House with the Tenement House, too. We can talk more on that!
And Dr. R – this is less than half the museums I went to. So many. Sadly I didn’t capture photos at all of them.
